Ranarpskvarn is run by me, Lina Rosa Åsberg, a spaceholder, social anthropologist, an artist and mother of three living part time in Stockholm, and part time in Skåne.

Before I started Ranarpskvarn, I wore many masks, and tried many things. I taught English to tibetan refugees in the Himalayas, went to a number of shamanic retreats in Peru, backpacked parts of south America and Southeast Asia, and joined my now husband for a 3-year stint living in Berkeley, California. In California I also came to write my master thesis on the anarchist activist nuns of the Sisters of the Valley, and became their first honorary sister of Sweden (Sister Rosa).

I believe wholeheartedly that women have sacred powers relating to our ability to bring forth physical life from the void, that we are psychic by birth, and that society must center women and children in small, circular communities where relationships and collaboration are the primary currency. The work I do in Ranarp mirror that belief both big and small; from the focus of events to the conversations and relationships that lead there in the first place.

I consider myself lucky to know some of the most amazing somatic teachers, tarot readers, psychics, artists and creators, and to be able to bring them to Ranarpskvarn, where they can share their knowledge and let its effects reverbate into the lives of countless others. Next year I have 6 events planned that deeply excite me, and I hope they will excite you too. Info about these and ways to book will drop over the coming months here on the website.

All who are called are welcome.

Lina Rosa
